Our mission is to provide a learning experience through meaningful play based on the child’s individual needs, interest and abilities that will build a foundation for further academic skills. Primm ABC Childcare and Preschool has been providing high quality childcare in South Seattle since 1970. Our philosophy is one of love, warmth and respect for the rights and needs of each other and is one in which the needs of the children must always come first. Most of our families that we serve are low income, working families who rely on the subsidies such as the City of Seattle King County and DSHS to pay in full or part of their childcare costs. While 95% of our children come from single-parents families, mostly women and/or grandparents raising grand or great grand children facing severe economic challenges they are very active partners in their children’s education and committed to building strong foundations for their children’s development.
